Rental Insurance Coverage
Our goal is to provide clear and transparent information about insurance coverage, so you know exactly what applies before completing your reservation.
Mandatory Third-Party Liability Insurance
All ML vehicles are insured in accordance with current Greek legislation and include mandatory third-party liability insurance, covering bodily injury and material damage to any person legally considered a third party.
Vehicle Damage & Renter Responsibility
In the event of damage or loss of the vehicle caused by the renter’s fault, negligence, or breach of the rental terms, the renter remains financially responsible up to the vehicle’s commercial value.
Optional Damage Coverage (CDW)
During the booking process, renters may choose Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) coverage, depending on the vehicle category. CDW reduces the renter’s financial responsibility for damage to the rented vehicle in case of an accident.
The availability of CDW for each vehicle is clearly indicated during the reservation process.
Full Damage Waiver (FDW)
Full Damage Waiver (FDW) may be available on selected vehicle models only. When available, FDW further reduces the renter’s financial responsibility for vehicle damage. Availability is clearly indicated during the booking process.
Insurance Exclusions
In none of the above-mentioned cases does insurance coverage apply when damage results from traffic law violations, use of the vehicle outside the agreed rental terms, damage to the underside of the vehicle, or loss of rental days resulting from an accident or vehicle damage.
Assistance Outside Operating Hours
In the event of an accident or incident occurring outside the company’s operating hours, insurance coverage remains fully valid. However, immediate assistance, roadside support or direct communication with the company may not be available until operating hours resume.
